HarperCollins has announced a series of events to mark the publication of Beren and Lúthien by J.R.R. Tolkien, edited by Christopher Tolkien and illustrated by Alan Lee.

Tolkien and the World is The Tolkien Society’s project to deliver Tolkien books to schools and libraries in developing countries. We believe that everyone in the world should have access to Tolkien – donate now to help make that a reality.

Today is The Tolkien Society’s international Tolkien Reading Day! The theme this year is Poetry and Song. Let us know what you’re reading in the comments below or by using #TolkienReadingDay on Twitter.

Dr Mark Atherton, author of There and Back Again: J.R.R. Tolkien and the Origins of The Hobbit,  will be the guest speaker at The Tolkien Society’s Annual Dinner on Saturday 22 April 2017.

The Trustees of The Tolkien Society are pleased to announce the shortlist for The Tolkien Society Awards. Members of the Society will be able to vote through the members’ area.

The famous Oxford pub, the Eagle and Child, is set for a revamp to expand the pub into offering accommodation for visitors.
