16th April marks the 10th anniversary of the publication of The Children of Húrin, the tragic tale of Túrin Turambar and his sister Nienor.

HarperCollins has announced a series of events to mark the publication of Beren and Lúthien by J.R.R. Tolkien, edited by Christopher Tolkien and illustrated by Alan Lee.

The editors of Tolkien Studies: An Annual Scholarly Review have announced the expected contents of volume 14.

Dr Mark Atherton, author of There and Back Again: J.R.R. Tolkien and the Origins of The Hobbit,  will be the guest speaker at The Tolkien Society’s Annual Dinner on Saturday 22 April 2017.
