Art Show

Once again for the Art Show we are requesting a total of 5 pieces maximum to be submitted per artist, this does not include a piece submitted to the ‘Celebration’ show.

Please complete a separate submission form for each piece, submissions will close on the 19th August to allow time for the online show to be built ready to go live on Thursday 31st.

The online Art Show will, as in previous years, be hosted in the Kunstmatrix exhibition platform, providing a 3D exhibition experience – see the video for highlights of the 2020 show.

Dealers Room

We will be creating a Dealers page with links to online shops for the benefit of those who are unable to attend in person. Anyone who would like to be included, please email dealers@oxonmoot.org for further information.

In person dealers must be registered delegates of Oxonmoot. Tables can be booked when completing your in person registration form, and your details will be passed to the Dealers Coordinator. You are also welcome to be included in the online Dealers page – email dealers@oxonmoot.org if you wish to do this.

For those unable to, or who do not wish to reserve space in the onsite dealers room we will again be preparing a list of dealers to be provided to our delegates. If you wish to be included in this list please message dealers@oxonmoot.org

If you would like your art to be sold at Oxonmoot you must give us details of how much you would like to price your art at. Please include this even if your pieces are only to be included in the online show along with details of where items can be purchased.

In previous years at Oxonmoot we have held a silent auction. If you would be interested offering a piece for this we will need a reserve price, if we are not provided with one then we will do my best to set a reserve price.

If you would like to display your art please ensure that is suitably mounted: we have velcro and fabric boards, we would like to be able to attach this to your art for mounting, without damaging it: so please allow for this. There is some scope for ‘hanging’ art, with tacks and string etc, but it must not be too heavy. If you have a specific way of displaying your art, please tell us!

There is a hanging system in place in in the Lecture foyer where the special ‘Celebration’ art show will take place so hanging framed pieces is nice and easy, though prints are also perfectly fine.

We require art to be sent to the college no later than the 28th August. Please package well.

Please note that there is 10% commission charged by the TS for all items sold at Oxonmoot

Any smaller cards/ postcards that you would like to be sold will be placed on a table and there will be someone at the art show ‘selling’ them. If you wish to send any please note this on one of your submissions forms so that a note can be made to expect them and ensure there is space allocated and be sure to include the prices to be charged so that price lists can be produced in advance of the event.

If you are attending, please tell us! As it would be lovely to meet you and we know that many of those attending enjoy meeting the artists who produce the work they love.

All art will be kept overnight in the art show room and the lecture theatre lobby, under lock and key, and will only be accessed by the art show coordinator or other Council members, so it will be safe!

If your art does not sell, or you would like it returned after showing, please provide details of where it will be going. To ensure easiest deliverance please package your art well.
