This is the Big Set, the collection with everything. Thank you Peter Jackson!

(Of course, should the opportunity arise to adapt The Silmarillion, we’ll be expecting a box library with 12 movies or whatever.)

I wonder, do those who worship these Peter Jackson films ever read the books anymore? And if they do, do they see their own Gollum, Frodo, Gandalf or do they see the luvvie actors who played them in the movies? Do they see Middle-earth in their mind using Tolkien’s descriptions as a guide, or do they just see New Zealand (complete with improbably huge insects in the woodlands of the Shire)?

My friend, it’s true that Peter comitted some mistakes, colossal ones, but it’s better if we stop blaming him because of it and enjoy life, as long as he or WB do not find more film rights i think there is stil hope for those of us who calls ourselves the Tolkien’s book readers. Those editions are good, whether we like peter’s Tolkien work or not, and even if reading hose books are far much more better than those semi-damned films.

      Best Regards.

can I just ask, how limited is this limited edition middle earth collection?
