Enyalië

Representatives of visiting Tolkien Societies laying wreaths on Tolkien's grave at Wolvercote Cemetery, Oxford

Enyalië is a short ceremony of Remembrance at Tolkien’s grave in Wolvercote ceremony held on the Sunday morning. It was the origin of Oxonmoot, and is in many ways it’s soul.
Enyalië includes a reading from Tolkien’s work by the Chair of The Tolkien Society, wreath laying, and concludes with a solo voice singing Namarië, Galadriel’s lament from The Lord of the Rings.
Consistently getting the highest rating of all the parts of Oxonmoot in our post-event feedback, Enyalië is the not-to-be-missed conclusion to the event.
