Our AGM 2021 will be held online via Zoom, open to all members of the Society, at 3pm (UK-time, UTC+1), on Saturday 10th April 2021.
About the meeting
The meeting is required under the Tolkien Society’s Constitution, under the law of England and Wales as regulated by the Charity Commission. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the main business meeting of the Society where members have the opportunity to discuss the organisation and business of the Society. The meeting has several main purposes:
- To review the previous year’s accounts;
- To ask questions of the trustees and appointed officers based on their reports;
- To consider any constitutional amendments;
- To set the membership fee; and
- To elect the trustees for the following year.
The deadline for constitutional amendments was Saturday 13th February 2021. None were received.
