We are pleased to announce the sixteen speakers who will be presenting their papers at the The Tolkien Society Seminar 2021, which will be held online on Saturday and Sunday 3rd – 4th July. The theme is Tolkien and Diversity, and is free for anyone to attend.

The Tolkien Society and Luna Press Publishing are pleased to announce that Adapting Tolkien: Proceedings of The Tolkien Society Seminar 2020, the twentieth book in the Peter Roe series, is now available to preorder.

Over the weekend of 3rd-4th July, the Society hosted its Summer Seminar on the theme of Tolkien and Diversity. Hosted online on Zoom, we welcomed 16 speakers and over 700 audience members to what was a spectacular event. The individual paper recordings are now available for free on the Tolkien Society’s YouTube channel.

Tolkien Reading Day normally takes place on 25th March, signifying the fall of Sauron in The Lord of the Rings.
