Tolkien Society Bursaries are available to Postgraduate Students pursuing an MA, MSc, MRes, MPhil, DPhil, PhD or equivalent degree from a recognised higher education institution.
Up to four bursaries are available that cover the basic registration fee at the event the recipient will be presenting at, plus a grant of up to £500 (GBP) towards the cost of travel and accommodation expenses.
About the event you are attending
In the light of the covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent decision to make the Seminar an on-line event, 2020 Bursaries are now only available to support students to present at Oxonmoot 2020 (St Anne's College, Oxford, 3-6 September 2020).
Applicants should submit their proposal for a paper directly to the Oxonmoot Call for Papers in addition to completing the form below.
