With the Amazon TV series now just a year away, Oxonmoot are delighted to announce a panel to discuss all our hopes, fears and expectations for the series, seeking to answer the question “Can I get excited yet?”

Pictures by J.R.R. Tolkien, first published in 1979, is being republished on 11 November 2021 for the first time since 1992.

Oxonmoot 2021 may be over, but the online Art Show is open to the public, and will remain open until 31st October 2021.

A new collection of essays – The Great Tales Never End: Essays in Memory of Christopher Tolkien – edited by Richard Ovenden and Catherine McIlwaine will be published by Bodleian Libraries in June 2022.

We are delighted to announce that Dr Dimitra Fimi, winner of the Outstanding Contribution Award in the 2021 Tolkien Society Awards, and the hosts of the Tolkien Experience Podcast, winner of the Best Online Content Award, will feature in the programme for Oxonmoot 2021.
