The first round of nominations for The Tolkien Society Awards 2024 is now open.

The Tolkien Society and Luna Press Publishing are pleased to announce that Translating and Illustrating Tolkien: Proceedings of The Tolkien Society Autumn Seminar 2021, the twenty-third book in the Peter Roe series, is now available to preorder.

A new version of The Lord of the Rings Musical has opened this week at the Watermill Theatre, near Newbury in Berkshire, UK. This reworked version of the 2006 stage musical will run from July to October.

We are now calling for papers for the Tolkien Society 2024 seminar, on the theme Tolkien’s Romantic Resonances, which will be a hybrid event held online and in-person at the Hilton Hotel, Leeds on 6th July 2024.

The Tolkien Society are delighted to announce that Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning composer Bear McCreary, the composer of the score for Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, will be joining us for Oxonmoot this year.
