The first round of nominations for The Tolkien Society Awards 2021 is now open.

To mark J.R.R. Tolkien’s twelfty-ninth (129th) birthday, The Tolkien Society invites fans all over the world to participate in our annual Birthday Toast.

Yulemoot 2020 will take place online via Zoom from 7:00 pm UK time on Saturday 12th December 2020. The event is free and open to all Tolkien Society members; there’s no need to let us know you are joining us.

We are pleased to announce the fourteen speakers who will presenting their talks at the The Tolkien Society Seminar 2021, which will be held online on Saturday 13th February. HarperCollins has announced a new Tolkien publication to be published on 24 June 2021. The book, The Nature of Middle-earth, is edited by Tolkien scholar Carl Hostetter and has been heralded as an unofficial 13th volume of The History of Middle-earth series.
