Art Show

After last year’s success running a hybrid art show we shall again be running a virtual art show alongside the traditional on site show for Oxonmoot 2022.

Submissions for the 2022 Art Show have closed.

The online Art Show will, as last year, be hosted in the Kunstmatrix exhibition platform, providing a 3D exhibition experience – see the video for highlights of the 2020 show.

All items included in the physical Art Show at St Anne’s will also be shown in the online show – therefore we ask that items be brought/collected in person or by a designated representative on Thursday morning. Please contact the Art Coordinator at art@oxonmoot.org if you are unable to bring your item/s on Thursday.

Art Show Submissions

All Tolkien artists are invited to submit up to five items of artwork for display in the online Art Show which will form part of Oxonmoot Online. Should you wish to offer more items, please contact the Art Show Co-ordinator.

Please submit artwork as soon as possible to give us maximum time for preparation, but note that no artwork can be accepted after 08:00 UK time (UTC+1) on Saturday 20th August.

Please note the technical requirements for submissions:

• Images should be submitted in .png, .jpg, or .jpeg formats
• Files must be less than 5MB
• We recommend a file-size between 500kB and 5MB – saved as compressed high-quality jpg
• The image-width of large pieces of art should be about 1900 pixels.
• Images must be smaller than 5000 x 5000 pixels

There is a space on the form to indicate if you intend to bring the Artwork to Oxford for in person display.

Dealers Room

This year, as part of our hybrid event, we will be creating a Dealers page with links to online shops for the benefit of those who are unable to attend in person. Anyone who would like to be included, please email dealers@oxonmoot.org for further information.

For those wishing to book space in the dealers room please use the booking form to request the number of tables you would like to reserve. 

In person dealers must be registered delegates of Oxonmoot. Tables can be booked when completing your in person registration form, and your details will be passed to the Dealers Coordinator. You are also welcome to be included in the online Dealers page – email dealers@oxonmoot.org if you wish to do this.

For those unable to, or who do not wish to reserve space in the onsite dealers room we will again be preparing a list of dealers to be provided to our delegates. If you wish to be included in this list please message dealers@oxonmoot.org
