About the Author: John Cockshaw

John is an artist and Tolkien Society member based in North Yorkshire. He curates exhibitions of Tolkien-inspired art and has exhibited his own work at Sarehole Mill, Oxonmoot, HobbitCon amongst other venues. In 2014/15 he had a lengthy illustrated article published in Film Score Monthly examining Doug Adams’ landmark study of Howard Shore’s The Lord of the Rings scores. He is currently working on Tolkien-inspired and wider fantasy projects with Oloris Publishing and Luna Press Publishing.
