Figures released yesterday by the Official Charts Company show that The Hobbit features as one of the UK‘s best-selling DVDs of the decade (so far).

Michal Kazmierczak is well-known in the LEGO fan community for his large recreations of film sets from Indiana Jones and the planet Mustafa from Star Wars. Now he’s turned his attention to The Hobbit.

A long-planned Middle-earth film museum is likely to be situated on the waterfront of Wellington, New Zealand, according to a new Development Plan being discussed by the city council, reports the Dominion Post.

Legendary actor, Sir Christopher Lee, sadly passed away on Sunday at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, following a short illness. He was 93.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies has received 7 nominations in this year’s Saturn Awards, including Best Fantasy Film.

Aiden Steward, a 9-year-old student at Kermit Elementary School in Texas, was suspended from school after claiming to use Ring against a classmate to turn him invisible.
