Dr Mark Atherton, author of There and Back Again: J.R.R. Tolkien and the Origins of The Hobbit,  will be the guest speaker at The Tolkien Society’s Annual Dinner on Saturday 22 April 2017.

The Tolkien Society will be celebrating its own annual Tolkien Reading Day on 25th March by hosting an event at the Story Museum in Oxford, including a live storytelling of Mr. Bliss.

The Tolkien Society Seminar 2017 will be held on Sunday 2nd July at the Hilton, Leeds City with a theme of “Poetry and Song”. Book now to attend this exciting and thought-provoking event!
