The Book of Lost Tales Part 2 will be the focus of the next free-to-attend Mythgard Academy online class hosted by Corey Olsen of the Mythgard Institute.

The new “Tolkien-Gordon Collection” at the University of Leeds focusses on Tolkien’s time at the University as well as his collaboration with E.V. Gordon, with whom he worked on Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

The 2015 “What Kids Are Reading” report has revealed that Tolkien’s works are now less popular with UK children when compared with previous years’ studies. While last year Tolkien came joint 6th in the top-10 list of overall most popular authors, this year he doesn’t feature in the list at all.

An English teacher at the University of New Mexico is offering a class to students comparing Mediaevalism and Middle-earth.
