The Tolkien Society will be celebrating its annual Tolkien Reading Day with an event hosted at Discover Children’s Story Centre in London on Saturday 24 March.

To mark J.R.R. Tolkien’s twelfty-sixth (126th) birthday, The Tolkien Society invites fans all over the world to participate in our annual Birthday Toast.

The Tolkien Society and Luna Press Publishing are pleased to announce the publication of Death and Immortality in Middle-earth: Proceedings of The Tolkien Society Seminar 2016, the seventeenth book in the Peter Roe series.

The Tolkien Society’s membership has grown in the last year to a new record of having more members now than at any other time in the Society’s history.

Tolkien illustrator Roger Garland died yesterday after a three-year battle with motor neurone disease. He was 67.
