The Tolkien Society’s membership has grown by 300 in a year, representing a 21% rise, as more and more people join the Society to support its mission and activities.

Back issues of Amon Hen and Mallorn, respectively the bulletin and journal of The Tolkien Society, have been digitised and made available to members.

The Tolkien Society is pleased to announce Tolkien 2019, the largest celebration the Tolkien Society has ever held. Taking place at the Macdonald Burlington hotel in Birmingham from 7th to 11th August 2019, the event will bring together hundreds of fans, scholars and artists from all over the world.
