The Tolkien Society is delighted to announce the launch of a new Bursary to fund emerging academics to present the latest Tolkien scholarship to new audiences.

On 26 September 2019 Tolkien’s Lost Chaucer edited by John M. Bowers is to be published by Oxford University Press.

The Tolkien Society’s membership has grown by 300 in a year, representing a 21% rise, as more and more people join the Society to support its mission and activities.

The first round of nominations for The Tolkien Society Awards 2019 is now open.
