In anticipation of his appearance at San Diego Comic Con this Saturday, Peter Jackson has posted the first poster for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies on his Facebook page.

Earlier this week, the studio released a new image from the film showing Gandalf, played by Sir Ian McKellan, and Bard, played by Luke Evans.

With Jackson’s appearance at Comic Con, and the expectation that the first trailer will be released soon, we can expect many more teasers over the coming days and weeks.
