Tolkien Society Trading Ltd. : How to Order

ALL our quoted prices INCLUDE postage and packing.

All our books are UK editions where these exist.

PLEASE ALLOW 28 DAYS FOR DELIVERY.

All prices are given in GBP (British pounds sterling), shown by the character £. Work out postal orders in other currencies at the current exchange rate and add the surcharge equivalent of £9 (GBP) to your order to handle overseas currency payments.

Credit card purchases will convert currency automatically. We add 5 percent of total order on credit card orders to meet our bank's handling charges. (This does not include any handling charges made by your credit provider.) This is usually cheaper than sending overseas currency, except on large orders.

How to order:

You can order by:

• Mail - directly to TS Trading (cash or credit card details with order)

• Fax - directly to TS Trading (credit card or request pro-forma invoice)

• Email - to tolksoc@tolkiensociety.org (credit card or request pro-forma invoice). We recommend that a secure PGP key is used when sending credit card details by email. (See below.)

Please notes goods will not be sent with a pro-forma invoice. Payment must be received before goods are despatched.

Sorry, we cannot order direct through this form yet, but please email us at tolksoc@tolkiensociety.org if you want the PGP encryption key for credit card ordering, or if you have any enquiries about stock or lists.

The PGP encryption key is also available for cut and paste here.

We do not recommend sending credit card details via email without the PGP encryption key (See above.) or by some other security means notified to us beforehand.

If credit card details are received unencrypted, it will be assumed that the sender has chosen not to encrypt.

How to pay by credit card:

Payment by Credit Card (Master Card/Visa/Eurocard/Access) or Debit Card (Visa-Delta only) is also available. Please add 5% to cover our provider's handling charges.

When paying by credit or debit card include the following information:

• Card number
• CSN Number (the last three digits found on back of card on signature strip)
• Expiry date
• Issue number (if your card has one)
• Type of card (Master Card, Visa etc.)
• The total amount due (in sterling) including the 5 percent surcharge.
• Your full address including postcode (this must be the address of the card holder, and will be the address to which we send your order.)
• Your name as it appears on your card
• Your signature (if sent by mail)

How to pay by post:

We welcome payment by cheques drawn on a UK bank, by International Money Orders, by UK Postal Orders or by traveller's cheques (payable to "Tolkien Society Trading Ltd."). Please pay in sterling if you can. It may be cheaper for you to buy a sterling money order at your bank than it is to pay us the £9 equivalent for our bank to convert your currency.

Please add the conversion surcharge of £9 (9 UK pounds) to any cheque or money order not in UK pounds OR any cheque or money order (even a Sterling one) drawn on a non-UK bank.

Please do not send cash in any currency. (This is always risky and sometimes illegal.)

Please note the Eurocheque system is no longer operating in Europe.

General enquiries can be sent to tolksoc@tolkiensociety.org but may get through faster if you use the fax.

You may want to mark up your order on a print-out of this list, or cut and paste parts of it for mailing. Malcolm would appreciate this if you have a complex order.
