Fun at Mill

The Middle-earth Weekend (or Tolkien Weekend or Fun at Mill), was conceived as a way of promoting both the concept of the Tolkien Park and Sarehole Mill itself. The first weekend was held in May 2000; subsequent weekends have been held annually ever since.

This unique event now attracts 10,000 visitors and offers a weekend of fun for all the family. 11 am - 5 pm Admission free both days.

We hope to continue running the Fun at Mill weekends for a long time yet. Indeed it would be wonderful to be able to incorporate them into a year round series of activities in the Tolkien Park.
