Tolkien Society Seminar 2007: Cambridge

"Women in Tolkien"

The first of 2007's seminars was held at Wolfson Court, Cambridge, England on Saturday 16th June. The weekend also included a mead tasting on Saturday evening and on Sunday a Punt moot to Granchester with a picnic lunch.

The day's papers were:

• "Mother or Other: Unnatural Nurturing in The Lord of the Rings" - S. Brown

• "A paper on Arwen since published in Amon Hen"- J.Yates

At present the papers are being collected for a forthcoming proceedings booklet in the Peter Roe series.
