Narrated by Dominic Monaghan, known to many as Merry in the Lord of the Rings films and Charlie in Channel 4's Lost, this film looks at a half-century of fandom starting from the original publication of The Lord of the Rings in 1954 to today's record-breaking film franchise.
Filmed by fan and first time director Carlene Cordova, the film features fans and actors coming together to celebrate Tolkien's work. It includes interviews with the film director Peter Jackson, stars Elijah Wood, Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom, Ian McKellen, Sean Astin, Andy Serkis, John Rhys-Davies and Billy Boyd, plus authors Clive Barker, Terry Pratchett, Terry Brooks and the Chairman of The Tolkien Society, Mrs Chris Crawshaw. And one 'Lemmy Kilmister', better known as Lemmy of Motorhead.
