Although I thought Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Gandalf and Boromir well cast I walked out of the screening of Two Towers, disgusted with the distortion of Faramir's character. I didn't like Liv Tyler as Arwen but could put up with that. The many changes to the story were slightly irritating but the change in Faramir's story was the proverbial straw.

Well I've seen The Two Towers in the theater twice now and I must say that I was less than enthralled. The movie was fairly good but it simply deviated too far from the story to be of any greatness. I honestly do not understand what Jackson's obsession with Arwen is all about. I would be content if they had left things out, but adding things in to the story is unacceptable in my eyes. In addition I think that by cutting the ending they left themselves with far too much to cram into the third movie and I cannot see how they will ever do it all without cutting out massive portions of the story. The movie is worth seeing but is disappointing to any Tolkien fan.

I thought the movie was very good. Although it was not nearly as accurate to the book as the first movie, but I suppose that's hollywood. I just pray that the third movie is as accurate as the first movie.

This is the best movie I have ever seen. The story is good and the actors do a good job of acting. Also the scene of Helms Deep is ( I think ) the best scene of the movie.
Amy, Toronto, Canada
I liked it a lot.

It was a good movie but I was little mad that they weren't very accurate according to the books.

The movie was amazing! It's too bad they cut out a large part of the book, but if they put everything the movie would be lake 10 hours long.
Either way the movie was awesome!!!!

Comment: Better than the first one but still unfaithful to the book. As the previous one lots of unnecessary changes.

The film is very good, but some of the characters and animals are not how I portrayed them in the book. For example, I pictured the wargs with grey and black fur. I also think that Smeagol was like a caricature, and not a twisted creature.
