My husband, my 7 year old son and I have seen the first Towers movie and we loved it. It was so exciting and such a "pretty" movie. At the time we were not aware that it was part of a trilogy and were quite confused and upset that it ended as it did! We were very relieved to find out there would be a second movie and also a third! We intend to go see the second movie ASAP. The more I hear about it, the more I can't wait!

Far too different from the book: there are too many changes that have,
in my sense, no possible justifications. If only Peter Jackson had not said
he was making his film with the book in his hand
...! Otherwise
a great action movie very beautiful magic and "real". fantastic!

I love this movie, it's the perfect combination of comedy and action! I can't wait for the next movie!!

The Two Towers was awesome! I've seen it twice so far, and I was very impressed with many aspects of the film. It would be impossible for them to put everything in the movie, as it was the movie was over 3 hours long. I was impressed how they didn't change anything from the book.
I hope Peter Jackson and crew will release an extended version of The Two Towers on DVD.

Very Simply if you compare the movie with the book it straye WAY too far and was a huge dissapointment, but simply as a movie the film was excellent. Even though the first filmed strayed it still kept the spirit of the book where I feel Two Towers did not. Again, entertaining but very dissapointing.

When i first saw the advertisment for LOTR:FOTR I thought it was not going to be good, but when I got caught up on what was happening...I loved it!! It was so much better than what I thought it was going to be. If you haven't seen it, I would recomend it to anyone, even if you don't think that you are interested. I personally can't believe that this didn't come out any sooner! It really is the best movies I have ever seen! Oh, and Legolas (Orlando Bloom) is now the hotest hottie I have ever seen, too!!!:)

The first time I saw The Two Towers, I was a bit disappointed.
The second time, I liked it because I accepted the changes and went with
Mr. Jackson's story and vision. The third time, I loved it. I suppose it
just took some getting used to.

It was a good movie, but personaly I like the books better. They missed
alot of good parts, but it was still one of the best movies I've ever seen.
The jokes were funny. I ike best what Legolas said to Gimli at the battle
of Helms deep.

Dear Tolkien Society,
As a whole I felt that the movie conveyed the themes brought to us in Book II The Two Towers. It captivated audiences, and while at times taking a little poetic license, it still gave a recognizable and followable storyline. Overall a great presentation.

Pretty good. Not very organised though.

I saw The Two Towers about a month ago, and am still sorting out my feelings on the film. The scenery (New Zealand) is breath-taking, and my visions of what Middle-Earth may have looked like were realized quite well. The portrayel of Gollum was quite accurate, his inner turmoils illustrated quite well. The relationship between Frodo and Sam became richer, as it did in the book. Some scenes (Helm's Deep and the depiction of Faramir,Aragorn falling from the cliff, innaccuracies regarding the Ents) disappointed me, but I try hard to understand Mr. Peter Jackson's choice to alter the story line. Overall, I enjoyed both films, and anticipate the release of the third. I remain a Tolkien fan and will always return to the books in favor of any other venue. I am not a scholarly person, and I hope my entry here does not make me appear lacking in intelligence. I know many of you are quite literary minded and possess far superior skills with word-craft, than me. My reaction to the first film was much more positive, than the second: which left me ambivilient at best? However, I feel any attempt to bring Tolkien's works to a more public format is to be applauded. Many people who would have never read Tolkien, will do so now, after seeing the movies.

I thought the Two Towers wasan amazing movie! It was well made and the fight scenes were absolutely amazing! There has never been a better movie made. The actors played the cahracters so well and I thought Gollum was th neatest character. I also loved the Trees. They were very cool and funny. No one will ever make a better movie. If you haven't seen it yet, you have to, and even if you have, you should see it again!
