I have seen the film 9 times already I love it. The battle scenes are great and I cant wait for the third movie to come out. I will be going to watch this film as many times as I can.
The first movie (The Fellowship Of The Ring) is what got me into LOTR after watching it i went out and bought the books including the Hobbit i have only just finished reading them.
I give The Two Towers 10/10

I'm a great fan of Tolkien books. I read everything about the Middle Earth around 5-6 times.
I'd really liked the first movie. The changes Peter Jackson made were not so bad and didnt affect too much the story.
That was absolutly not the case with the second movies. Gollum walking in the sunlight (after centuries in a the mine of the Moria, kinda strange), Theoden posseded by Saruman (what the use of Wormtongue then ???), Faramir who want the ring, but not taking it, Frodo attacking Sam, ect..etc...

My thoughts on The Two Towers were that it was quite twisted around and much different than in the book. It lacked much dialogue and thought, and seemed to have been made in a rush. I hope the next one will be better.

Both these first films are excellent and exactly reflect how I envisioned the books. It is very rare that big films are true to both the spirit and 'feel' of the books they portray; but I firmly believe that, so far, both films are spot-on. I, and the rest of my family, am very impressed with this production. First Class.

I loved the movie the scenery was gorgeous, the actors were great, especially gollum. Only dissapointment was they got of the book by a lot, but they made up for it with action. I think that they did this so that people who haven't read the books(they don't know what they are missing) would'nt get extremely confused
I'm curious(and excited) to see what they are going to do about the Scouring of the Shire(if they have it at all) and the Grey havens at the end-

To tell you the truth I don't really like the movies, I like the books alot better. I think it's a shame that just now people are really starting to discover his books. Personally, I think they're just lazy. Alot of people I know are just waiting for all of the movies to come out instead of reading the books.

Horrified! I loved FOTR because it at least stayed true to the spirit. (and i saw it 5 times!)
TTT was a travesty. Mr. Jackson revealed his lack of respect for great literature and for Mr. Tolkien. Did Jackson think he could improve on Tolkien?
He had some fabulous talent working for him, but the changes to the plot were not only inane, they don't add up logically to hold the story together. Will Frodo be giving the ring away at every opportunity now, we wonder? Aye, we wonders! I think I'm more frightened of Frodo and his sword then the dark riders -- one of whom just seemed to vanish when Sam pulled Frodo to his senses in Osgiloth. Just say Boo!
It's difficult to believe that the Tolkien family allowed an immature director like Jackson hijack this wonderful work of literature so that he could stamp his crass Hollywood formula on it.
I am terribly disappointed.

I felt the movie was very well done and really brought the book to life.
Although the part about the elves coming to assist the men at Helms Deep
was add. Also they did not yet get to the part about Shelob or Merry and
Pippin reuniting with Aragon, Legolas, and Gimli it still was wonderful
and you cant exspect them have every thing that was in the book it would
just be too long.

Nice movie, strayed a little too much to remain faithful to the book though.

All I can say is, with the first notes of music and even before the words The Lord of the Rings came on the screen I had tears in my eyes. Peter Jackson is a movie master who followed his heart and Tolkien words. This movie was everything I expected and my only worry now is...what will I do after they release The Return of the King? Will there be The Hobbit perhaps? We can only hope!
