This is the policy for the Tolkien Society On-line Events listing.

By submitting an event to our on-line events listing you agree to abide by this policy.

Inclusions and Exclusions

The Tolkien Society reserves the sole right to decide what is and is not included in the listing. We may permit an event to be listed and we may remove an event from the listing at any time. No correspondence will be entered into on our decisions.

We will only include events in the listing where there is a clear interest to Tolkien enthusiasts. This interest may include events that are not specifically about Tolkien but are about one or more of the other Inklings, or are about subjects that were interests of Tolkien.

We will not include events where there is a clear breach of copyright or other intellectual property, or where we become aware of a breach of copyright or other intellectual property. We will remove an event from the listing where we subsequently become aware of any breach of intellectual property.

Accuracy

The Tolkien Society is not responsible for the accuracy or otherwise of any entry in the listing. It is the responsibility of the event organiser and the person who submits the event to ensure that their listing is accurate. It is the responsibility of the reader to check that the details they obtain from the listing are accurate.
