Middle-earth Weekend at Sarehole Mill This year’s weekend celebrating the work of J.R.R Tolkien at Sarehole Mill and Recreation Ground, Cole Bank Road, Hall Green, Birmingham will focus on “Myths and Monsters” mixing Tolkien’s local connections, his translation and academic works on Beowulf and one of his earliest essays in story writing which featured “a great green dragon”. The pictures must portray European landscapes recalling the places created by our favourite author JRR Tolkien. Explore Tolkien’s Middle-earth from your home, in your own time.
