Tolkien Society Chairman, Shaun Gunner, has been interviewed by TheOneRing.net (TORn).
In a discussion with TORn’s KELVARHIN, Shaun talks about how Tolkien fandom has changed and where it’s heading. He suggests that the fandom has matured in recent decades, and that all Tolkien communities will need to adapt in the coming years with the likelihood that there will not be any film adaptations in the near-future.
Shaun also talks about his achievements during his first year as Chairman, and puts forward his future plans for the Society. These include new events such as Yulemoot (keep an eye on this website and Amon Hen for details), more online activities and features on the website, improving the Society’s publications, and the long-term goal of a Tolkien Centre.
